In recent years, she enjoyed traveling, watching her grandson play hockey, attending musicals, concerts and spending time with family. She lived the majority of her life in Irving, Texas where she and husband Gary Don Phillips raised their two children and were active members of the community, including PTA, booster clubs and Girl Scouts. She was born on the 4 th of July 1944 in New York City.
